Artist Statement: Banksy is the defining artist of our time. He’s prolific, he’s come from street art, and has now taken over the world of fine art, but in his own counter culture way. He’s anonymous and with this he’s got a huge amount of power, he can be the Batman of the artworld. I love Banksy’s work and in him being himself, speaking for those without voices, he encourages all of us to do the same. Love him or hate him, Banksy is exactly what the world needs of artists.
